Coincidences. I've had plenty of them! over the years of working, and dealing and living with other people. And below i'll share a couple that might reveal why I will act as I do. Which i will always take full responsibility for.
Story 1.
I used to work for a place called.. geedwill (joke name).
Theres a sale on clothes every thursday, that makes certain clothing only 1 dollar according to its tag color. It was a huge hit. Especially with these 3 ladies. Who were all super kind, super happy, and super clean. They would pick up after themselves, chatted with me, and even do their best to buy whatever dollar tag they could. They would come up with a cart full, thats a coincidence number 1. wow what a coincidence they found all these sales! they must've looked really hard all day, and dressed all day for these. The 2 coincidence is that the tags all-looked normal! back then we used staples! but still if the tag was missing or it looked strange we could catch it but these were super always good.
Then one day. We moved to a new tagging system.
We used real store tags, and the staples were now moved to useless. Huzzah! So dollar thursday comes around. And all the sudden all the tags. are messed up. First. second.. third.I noticed all the damage to each tag, and I stopped for a moment. I looked at all the other tags, trying to find a decent one. I found out they were stealing from us. with smiles on their faces, every thursday. They would come back.. and try again, and again, and again. same story.. less and less clothes. Even mixing real stuff with fake stuff to pretend they didn't know. They denied every bit of it.
Story 2.
I was living off in an apartment by myself. I lived by myself and got a new neighbor. This new neighbor one day was taking selfies of himself in front of my door posing and all. (1) I hesitated and smiled politely, and he apologized and asked me to take a selfy for him. So i obliged and he positioned himself.. from what i didn't notice ahead of time. Right at my door number.
A random day i get hard knocking on my door while i was napping. Confused i walked over to my door since they wouldn't stop baning and i opened it. When i did they were super confused (3 why confused). They hesitated and said 'oh.. sorry wrong place' another loud bang another time on my door to a point it was almost voilent. I was huffy myself and told them "ONE SEC" and i opened the door to find another man. He was surprised again, and he asked me for my neighbor. I told him he was in the other one. I closed my door, and all the sudden the guy next door is smashing the fuck into the next apartment breaking the glass and yelling for the mans name. I wondered why i was being knocked on this whole time, it was becuase the man had ran off.. and who was after him was a gang/mafia style thing. HAD TAKEN A picture of my number.. coincidentally.
Imagine if i never had answered the door.
Story 3.
When i was younger i got into a debt of 180 dollars for my credit card. It made my mother upset, so she took my cards away saying she would pay it back. Thats when she began to ask me if she could use my account. I was like sure! My mom asking me for help why not. I let her use my account and money and credit cards.
and in the end when i got the cards back I was 2k in debt. I paid it back all by myself..
i later learned my father (divorced) had been giving her 1K a month to take care of me and my sis. she could've paid it off.. that whole time. She of course denied this.
Story 4.
A young group of college kids, came to my door and were selling books. Or books to be donated to a childrens hospital. They told me they were from a speech group and were doing this for a class to help them get better. I listened to them explain everything and they had a chance to go ahead and win a trip somehwere.
they complimented me, let me chat with them, and everything. They convinced me fullheartedly. I gave them about 180 bucks since i had that to spare and was excited when i got receipt and told to go online.
when i went online it was deemed a hoax. The coincidences i should have looked out for was, they wouldn't take checks or cards, they only take cash. And they only sell in bundles, and they smelt of pot but i didn't notice later cause i didn't recognize the smell cuas eof the wind.
Since then i've met others like them and they tried again and when i say its a hoax they deny right away and leave.
Story 5.
I got back from shopping and was taking my groceries in and out. I had my trunk open cause i'mjust a small person and my apartment was just right there and it was convenient. I stopped though as i grabbed a few bags, i saw from the corner of my eye someone staring. It was some guy, he was walking my way. I stared back, and watched him turn the corner and our eyes never left until he disappeared.
I pulled my bags out... and shut my trunk and locked my car, and brought my stuff inside. and waited. I went back to peek and the man was shaking my trunk trying to get it to open. I went back and waited some more until he was gone.
I have way more stories. maybe more than 10.
remember the politcian sayings joke is 'deny deny deny'. but you don't get caught if you deny everything, it works for people, so its the easiest route. less damage.
Theres too many coincidences and you feel a strange pit in your stomach. react to it, its there for a reason. I've been tricked too many times you guys, it gets tiring after a while.
